Water
We trust that investment in water and wastewater infrastructure will continue to grow; however large gaps will always exist between the infrastructure needs and the available funds, both on the national, state, and local levels. Capital needs for drinking water infrastructure and wastewater infrastructure systems continue to far exceed available funding.
NTH is committed to improving the quality of life in the regions we serve by providing efficient, economical, and sustainable solutions to our water and wastewater infrastructure clients. We help our clients extend the service life of their existing infrastructure through our intense focus on asset management: inspection, condition assessment, and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure.
Structural Condition Assessment & Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation of component or system failures can be costly and extensive. NTH’s Infrastructure Rehabilitation team provides comprehensive assessments to evaluate the condition of a structure’s concrete and structural elements to avoid failures. Our assessment process includes collection of data, evaluation of current conditions, and recommendations for rehabilitation.
Deep Excavations And Tunnels
Underground engineering continues to be one of NTH’s core strengths. NTH professionals have designed tunnels and other underground projects, provided field engineering during construction, investigated failures of underground facilities both during and after construction, and repaired damaged facilities.
