Mr. Roarty offers over 41 years of experience in geotechnical, civil, shoreline, underground structural, and forensic engineering. Prior to joining NTH, He served as a Field Engineer observing specialty geotechnical construction, as a Resident Engineer administering a 250-acre mass grading and drainage contract, and as a Zone Manager of construction contract administration staff for multiple airport construction contracts. Mr. Roarty has managed geotechnical investigations and design for various building, utility, shoreline, tunnel, and other underground projects as well as forensic investigations of failed underground structures. He has served as an independent peer reviewer as well as a member of value engineering teams for projects in design. Mr. Roarty has managed the emergency repair of underground conduits, failed slopes, and underground structures. He has provided geotechnical oversight and construction contract administration services on design/build and conventional bid projects as well as submittal review, geotechnical instrumentation data collection and interpretation, and general engineering support during construction. Mr. Roarty also serves as a Quality Officer and Senior Vice President at NTH.
